Unexpectedly, we ran into an unusual snag with a prospective buyer and his agent, which could have made our sale a disappointing one. Without hesitation, Kirk reassured us that there were other buyers who were eager to pay more for our parents' home than what had been offered, and he proved to be right - shortly there after the home sold for 15% above what we originally hoped to realize. I moved to Charlotte County Florida in 1974 from the Chicago-land area. I'm a proud US Navy Veteran and served on the USS Whipple FF-1062 in Pearl Harbor, HI. After my service, I was hired by the Punta Gorda USPS. I retired early after 21 years with the USPS as a window clerk before pursuing my dream of becoming a real estate agent.
